Worst customer service ever. Never call back. Cant talk to people. Long wait times.

Support does not want you talking to a person, even after 9am on a weekday, I get "you have reached us outside of office hours." I'm on a prepay account, and I'm about as light of a user as possible. 15 minutes incoming / outgoing phone calls. 20 text messages, and 32 MB of data. Nothing. But while people can leave me voicemail, I can't pick up. I'm set up for monthly credit card renewal. This is the second time this has happened, and I had to reach Skinny, which is almost impossible.

Difficult to deal with, unrealistic and irrational price increases and total lack of consideration for loyalty.

Very unreliable, customer service is very slow, waiting for hours to talk. Problem unresolved and customer service said turn phone off and on. After waiting 3hrs to talk with someone and have such poor service I have changed to a different supplier. My advice, don't even join skinny. Only ends in stress. No Data even if you have unlimited.

Moved over, saving heaps. Love this Kiwi brand. I like it that I only pay a tiny amount when i dont use lots of data, but I can use as much as I want!

Just unbeatable value prepay. They regularly run discount deals that make them even better value. They use the One network. Prepay by buying a voucher with a credit/debit card. I’ve been using them for years with no problems.

I have had an account with spark for over 10 years.
Phone service is good, customer service is severely lacking. Never any bonuses or perks for being a loyal customer for years.

We switched to Skinny 4G home broadband several years ago when Vodafone wanted to hike the price for our fibre broadband. They were good for ages, no problems until our nice $39/month plan stopped being for sale (became a 'legacy' plan). The T&C's distinctly say we can stay on that plan as long as we want. 3 times they have subtly tried to kick us off it by mucking up our card payment then saying you'll need to sign up to a new plan (i.e pay us more!). Either their auto-billing system has lots of problems or they have a very dodgy practice for removing low-profit legacy customers. I'm guessing lots of telco's are the same though. The supplied modem-router is still working perfectly, it slows down every 6 weeks or so but you just reboot it.
Support chat & account page on their website still works if the broadband is cut off due to non-payment, which is very helpful in the situation.
